As part of The Week of the Circular Economy from March 17 to 21, we are organizing three webinars on circularity in the (sustainable) energy sector together with Circular Manufacturing and BlueCity. On Monday we kick off the week with a webinar taking you through the latest circular insights and developments in the offshore wind industry.
What to expect.
The industry is slowly taking steps in the right direction in terms of circularity. But the first offshore wind farms that will soon be out of use are not designed to be easily dismantled. So there are still plenty of opportunities, both in design and in recovering and revaluing offshore wind farm components.
In this webinar, we will take you through the latest circular developments in the sector and share the results of the CIRCO Track Circular Opportunities for Offshore Wind Farms, which will conclude in March this year. We will also discuss the possible next steps, what is needed to do so and who is involved.

The Circular Manufacturing Industry Implementation Program works to accelerate the transition to a circular economy within the manufacturing industry. Developing knowledge and technology, as well as scaling up to as many companies as possible, is central to this. A circular manufacturing industry creates economic opportunities in the areas of service, reuse, repair and recycling.
The circular economy does not arise by itself. CIRCO (a program of TKI-CLICKNL) focuses on getting a new market moving. CIRCO therefore activates - with the support of the government - entrepreneurs and creative professionals to (re)design products, services and business models in order to then do circular business.
