During The Week of the Circular Economy, from March 17 to 21, we are organizing a series of inspiring webinars on circularity in the (renewable) energy sector together with Circular Manufacturing Industry and BlueCity. Do you work in the solar installation sector or are you curious about the latest circular developments in this industry? Then put March 19 in your calendar.
What to expect.
A lot has happened in recent years in the field of circular solar installations in the Netherlands. Solar panels that are more recyclable are now being designed, and the second-hand market is gaining momentum. After projects that focused on the solar panels themselves, mounting frames and inverters are now being addressed.
During this webinar we will take you through the latest circular developments, from research on the CO2 impact of reuse to concrete innovation projects at companies. You will gain insight into the steps towards a circular solar industry and practical tools for promoting circularity in the solar installation sector.

The Circular Manufacturing Industry Implementation Program works to accelerate the transition to a circular economy within the manufacturing industry. Developing knowledge and technology, as well as scaling up to as many companies as possible, is central to this. A circular manufacturing industry creates economic opportunities in the areas of service, reuse, repair and recycling.
The circular economy does not arise by itself. CIRCO (a program of TKI-CLICKNL) focuses on getting a new market moving. CIRCO therefore activates - with the support of the government - entrepreneurs and creative professionals to (re)design products, services and business models in order to then do circular business.
