On June 25, together with CIRCO and the Circular Manufacturing Foundation, we are organizing the Manufacturing Meet-up. At this meeting, we will bring together parties from the chains of priority product groups - for which government and industry are jointly developing circular roadmaps. We share insights, make new connections and take concrete follow-up steps towards circular chains. Will you be there? Read more about the program, the purpose of the meet-up and how to register below.
Why this Meet-up?
Within the manufacturing industry, various product groups are crucial for a sustainable and strategically strong economy. Think of innovative strength, security of supply of raw materials and strengthening the Dutch competitive position. Therefore, roadmaps are being developed for these groups that provide direction, create space for innovation and stimulate cooperation. During the Maakindustrie Meet-up, we bring parties from the chain together to share insights, make new connections and take follow-up steps.
Priority product groups covered include:
- Electrolysers
- Wind (offshore)
- Solar PV systems
- Batteries
- Climate Systems
- Machinery and tools
- Electrical and electronic devices
- Critical raw materials
- Possibly supplemented by additional product groups
What does it get you?
✔️ Meet partners who want to work with you on circular chains.
✔️ Learn from best practices inside and outside your product group chain.
✔️ Discover tools and methodologies that will accelerate your plans.
✔️ Contribute to the national roadmaps for your product group.
Program
Walk-in and coffee (from 1 p.m.)
Plenary session (1:30 - 2:15 p.m.)
Relevant players from the public and private environment will explain the developments regarding security of supply of critical materials and raw materials. You will get an inspiring practical example of how companies are already taking steps towards a circular and future-proof chain.
Breakout session by product group (2:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
In the breakout sessions, companies will work together with policy makers and knowledge institutions in a concrete way. Depending on how far along the roadmap is for the relevant product group, we will continue to work on clear goals and define concrete projects. More information will follow specifically for each product group.
Joint closing and networking drinks (approximately from 4:30 p.m.)
Optional: attend the CIRCO Next Steps Workshop beforehand (12:00 - 1:30 p.m.)
Have you already developed circular plans during a CIRCO Track, but have new questions occurred to you? Then join this compact Next Steps Workshop prior to the Manufacturing Meet-up. Together with other CIRCO alumni and supply chain partners, you will get to work with concrete practical examples of companies that make circularity work for their organization. Dive into the opportunities that storytelling offers to get others on board with your circular story, and discover the opportunities and challenges of circular chain collaboration - from setting up reuse systems to joint execution and financing.
The depth by product group - you'll do this in the breakout sessions
- Climate Plants: Turn the ambitions from the Circular Climate Plants Roadmap into concrete actions for your company, and be inspired by companies already taking circular steps.
