Are you interested in the circular economy and want to learn more about the transition to a circular Netherlands? Come to the exclusive meeting at VEPA in Emmen and meet experts, policy makers and knowledge partners working together on this important change.

What to expect.

The morning begins with a delicious breakfast at VEPA, where Bart Volkers (Director of Circular Groningen Drenthe) and delegate Willemien Meeuwensen (Province of Drenthe) welcome you. Then Frank Bouma, Chief Sustainability Officer of the Fair Furniture Group, will take you through VEPA's circular transition and share valuable insights from practice.

This will be followed by an inspiring presentation by Professor Jan Jonker (professor em. Sustainable Entrepreneurship). He introduces the WEconomy transition canvas and shows how this model helps organizations move to a circular economy.

During the change dialogue, led by Niels Faber (Researcher Circular Businessmodels and transition), we will look at the circular transition from different perspectives - government, region and business. This interactive conversation offers a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and think together about the future.

We will conclude the morning with a summary of key insights and then have lunch together. After lunch, we will continue the program with the afternoon session.

Don't miss this inspiring day and discover how we are shaping the circular transition together!

CIRCO

The circular economy does not arise by itself. CIRCO (a program of TKI-CLICKNL) focuses on getting a new market moving. CIRCO therefore activates - with the support of the government - entrepreneurs and creative professionals to (re)design products, services and business models in order to then do circular business.
