Let's start working!

How can you contribute to the circular economy as a product designer? The circular economy is a system in which products last longer. This requires new forms of (chain) collaboration. This requires a circular design approach and new business models.

In this one-day training you will be educated on the content of circular design as a designer, practice its concrete application together, and gain insight into your role in realizing circular consumer products.

Program

During this workshop you will gain insight into the basics of circular design and circular business models. We look at various practical examples of frontrunners. Then we apply these to your own case. The approach in the training is based on the research and book Products that Last (TU Delft) and the business models and design strategies described therein.

To apply the new insights in practice, you as a designer must act as a change agent for circular design. Therefore, in the last part of the training you will learn how to get circular design on the agenda of your clients or colleagues in your daily practice.
