There’s a lot happening in the field of circularity in healthcare. But how can you ensure that medical instruments can be reused to a high standard—not just in theory, but in practice as well? In this webinar, we’ll team up with Saxion to take a closer look at the design of medical instruments, and you’ll gain practical tips and real-world insights.

As part of the High-Quality Reuse of Medical Instruments (HHMI) project, Saxion collaborated with companies and healthcare organizations to develop a Field Guide containing practical design principles and insights for incorporating reuse considerations into the development of medical instruments.

During this webinar, Justin Dijkhuis from Saxion will share the key insights from the project and demonstrate how entrepreneurs can use the Field Guide to make circularity and reuse a concrete part of their design and development process. We’ll also share a real-world example from the business world. Ivo Kooijman, CTO of Implican, will share his practical experience with the development of their innovative reusable intestinal anastomosis device.

Register for the webinar and discover how smart design choices enable the high-quality reuse of medical instruments.

CIRCO

The circular economy does not arise by itself. CIRCO (a program of TKI-CLICKNL) focuses on getting a new market moving. CIRCO therefore activates - with the support of the government - entrepreneurs and creative professionals to (re)design products, services and business models in order to then do circular business.
