CIRCO organizes Tracks: companies from one industry come together around a specific theme or with the entire chain. During 3 design days they work on concrete circular products, services and business models. CIRCO is happy to share these findings. In the CIRCO Track 'Event venues, hospitality and supply chain companies' it emerged that the COVID-19 crisis has accelerated a number of changes that can bring the very circular economy a step closer. The industry is feeling great pressure to use less single-use packaging and disposables. Especially now that Single Use Plastics regulations went into effect in early July. An important lesson from the Track, for example, is that data and smart ICT solutions can make an important contribution. The companies that participated in the Track also developed plans for practice that they could start immediately. This also created opportunities for new business models.

CIRCO

The circular economy does not arise by itself. CIRCO (a program of TKI-CLICKNL) focuses on getting a new market moving. CIRCO therefore activates - with the support of the government - entrepreneurs and creative professionals to (re)design products, services and business models in order to then do circular business.
