The Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) is a knowledge institution that trains a wide variety of students with a broad range of vocational education to develop their talents to the fullest extent in order to practice their profession independently and at a high level. By linking education and practice-oriented research, the HvA contributes to the renewal of professional practice and society in and around an internationally oriented Amsterdam.
Circular design at the HvA includes research and education at different HvA faculties and from different disciplines: Circular design in the built environment, of the building and architectural elements, of products, of product-packaging combinations and of fashion. This includes research by researchers and students into the system changes required for embedding, laws and regulations, business models, behavior and user acceptance and the impact of circular solutions.
