Online Expert Café | Repurpose as a circular strategy

'Repurpose' is a circular strategy, better known to the general public as upcycling. It involves using discarded products or parts of them to make a new product with a different function and/or context.

This strategy is a still underexposed strategy on the R-ladder for circularity. High time to change that. On Tuesday, November 21, there is an online CIRCONNECT Expert Café 'Repurpose as a circular strategy', hosted by Hogeschool van Amsterdam. They do a lot of research on Repurpose and are happy to share their knowledge on this topic. Using practical examples, Jeroen van Vorsselen and Marco van Hees will take you through different forms of Repurpose. They focus on physical product design, as well as organizational and revenue models. They also give a sneak preview of the method developed for designers and other professionals to get started with Repurpose.
