The Circular Entrepreneurship Conference marks the festive opening of Circular Economy Week. During the conference on March 19, we will be organizing the action table 'Raw material security and circularity in mechanical engineering' together with RVO and Stichting Circulaire maakindustrie (Circular Manufacturing Industry Foundation).
Since February 2026, representatives from the business community, research institutions, and the government have been working on the Mechanical Engineering Roadmap as part of the Circular Manufacturing Industry program. The roadmap aims to define action plans and projects for the next 5–10 years to help the mechanical engineering sector reduce its dependence on critical raw materials and components, thereby making it more resilient and circular.
The Mechanical Engineering Roadmap product team will present the initial findings and engage in discussions with companies in the mechanical engineering sector. Harald Tepper, chair of the Mechanical Engineering Roadmap product team, will provide a broad overview of the sector and share the Roadmap’s vision for 2030. Jeannette Levels, sector expert for Manufacturing & Construction at Circonnect, presents the proposed solution paths. In two working sessions, we’ll dive deeper: What do the participants think of the solutions we’ve come up with so far? What’s still missing?
We warmly invite you to join us.
