On June 7, 2023 the Dutch Academic Network on Circular Economy (DAN-CE) will meet at The Green Village on the TU Delft campus for its 4th event.
Using the new National Program Circular Economy by the Lower House of Parliament as input, DAN-CE 4 will be a day of in-depth discussions, workshops, and high-level keynotes by academia and decision makers on the opportunities and implications of the Circular Economy. The goal of this event is to identify high level research topics and concepts that may play a critical role in catalyzing the circular economy transition but are currently not getting sufficient attention in current policy and academic debates on CE. The theme is "From National ProgramCE to Research Agenda: Academic Perspectives" and discussions will be related to recent policy documents at the EU level, such as the European Critical Raw Materials Act, the Net Zero Industry Act, and the Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation Proposal.
The program will include:
In the afternoon there will be breakout sessions to develop a CE research agenda on topics like (i) post-growth, (ii) digitization for CE, (iii) critical materials, (iv) consumers and social change, and workshops include (I) early career activities, (ii) PhD program for regional CE, (iii) updates KIA-CE.
