Getting a sofa reupholstered is too much hassle. Secondhand stores are stale. And for a little more money, your customers would rather buy a new one, than a repaired phone. Research shows that consumers are not always open to circular products. How do we make buying repaired and used products accessible and attractive to consumers?

Companies are experimenting with this question in abundance. Ikea is replacing the Bargain Corner with the Circular Hub. Drop&Loop makes it possible to hand in used clothing at the Albert Heijn supermarket. The United Repair Center is located at an A-location in Amsterdam. What can we learn from these initiatives?

On Thursday, November 10, we will engage retailers and behavioral scientists in a conversation: what can the fashion and furniture industries learn from each other? What works and what doesn't? How can behavioral science help us in shaping a smooth and enjoyable customer journey?
