Over the past two years, Circonnect has carried out various projects focused on circularity in the offshore wind sector, funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. New CIRCO Chain Tracks for offshore wind will also launch in 2026. To promote synergy between completed, ongoing, and future projects and to increase their relevance to the sector, we invite you to join the “Next Steps Session: Wind.”

The meeting

During this follow-up session:

– We’ll update you on the lessons learned from the Offshore Wind Roadmap, CIRCO Chain Tracks, and other initiatives (including wind farm decommissioning and Bridge of Europe);
– We’d love to hear what’s on your agenda;
– We will outline potential cases for upcoming initiatives;
– Together, we will define next steps to help us accelerate and scale up.

Background information

With a grant from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, Circonnect has developed a specific approach to take concrete steps toward circularity with priority product groups in the manufacturing industry. In this effort, we collaborate with partners in the region and the sector—both in equipping individual companies and supply chains with practical tools and in developing roadmaps for the product group as a whole.

This program aligns with the National Circular Economy Program and the National Raw Materials Strategy. With the introduction of the Critical Raw Materials Act, Europe is strengthening its commitment to ensuring the security of supply of critical materials and enhancing the competitiveness of European companies.
