As a product or packaging designer, how can you contribute to the circular economy? The circular economy is a system in which products last longer. New forms of (chain) cooperation are required for this. This requires a circular design approach as well as new business models.

Program

During this workshop you will gain insight into the basics of circular design and circular business models. We look at various practical examples of frontrunners. Then we apply these to your own case. The approach in the CIRCO Class is based on the books Products that Last (TU Delft) and Products that Flow and the business models and design strategies described in them.

In the last part of the training you will learn how to place circular design on the agenda of your clients and colleagues in your daily practice.

The workshop consists of:

an entire training day on location, where you will be coached by two trainers with content-related circular design expertise
a telephone coaching call, prior to the training day of approx. 45min, in which one of the trainers will discuss with you where your opportunities and challenges lie and in which a case will be selected for you to work on.

CIRCO

The circular economy does not arise by itself. CIRCO (a program of TKI-CLICKNL) focuses on getting a new market moving. CIRCO therefore activates - with the support of the government - entrepreneurs and creative professionals to (re)design products, services and business models in order to then do circular business.
