June 25, 2025 Circo De Maakindustrie Meet-up - 026_COEN KOPPEN PHOTOGRAPHY_online

The program for the 2026 Circular Manufacturing Industry Annual Event is now live! On June 17, discover how companies in the manufacturing industry are tackling challenges such as raw material shortages, supply security, and new regulations. Be inspired by real-world examples, meet entrepreneurs and industry experts, and customize your own schedule from two rounds of interactive sessions.

Create your own program

During the event, you can choose between two rounds of sessions. In the first round, you’ll explore the roadmaps for various product groups: concrete plans that chart a course toward a circular and future-proof manufacturing industry. In the second round, you’ll be introduced to practical tools, insights, and resources from sources such as the Circonnect Toolbox, which you can immediately put to use in your own organization. Will you be joining us on June 17? Take a look at the program in advance, or register here.

Round 1: Roadmaps for your product group

In the first round, experts will bring you up to speed on the latest developments in your industry. Using the roadmaps, you’ll discover which opportunities, challenges, and projects will shape the coming years. You can choose from the following sessions:

  • Mechanical Engineering – Harald Tepper and Jeannette Levels walk you through the roadmap designed to make the mechanical engineering sector resilient and circular over the next 5 to 10 years.
  • Maritime Manufacturing Industry – Bob Zuidgeest, Richard Pijpers, and Bas Roelofs demonstrate how the circular reuse of steel and components can contribute to greater supply security, lower costs, and a stronger competitive position.
  • HVAC Systems – Olaf Oosting will present the updated roadmap for HVAC systems and discuss opportunities, challenges, and potential solutions leading up to 2030.
  • Solar PV – Robin Quax shares the initial findings from the Solar Roadmap, including insights on circular procurement, the lifespan of solar panels, and perovskite solar films.
  • Wind-op-Zee – Nina Vielen-Kallio takes you through the roadmap for circular offshore wind and the opportunities created by collaboration on circularity, security of supply, and new revenue models.

During these sessions, you’ll gain insight into current developments in your industry as well as the specific projects and partnerships that result from them.

Round 2: From Strategy to Practice

In the second session, you’ll learn about practical tools, methodologies, and insights that will help you integrate circularity into your organization’s daily operations. You can choose from:

  • Digitalization for Circular Economy Practices – Jan Westra (BOM/Oost NL) and Pepijn Rinzema (TMC) demonstrate how data and digitalization can help preserve value, reduce waste, and highlight opportunities for the circular economy.
  • Raw Material & Product Passports (GPP) – Hans van der Steen explains how product and material data can contribute to supply security, circular design, compliance, and future profitability.
  • Remanufacturing – Join MaakLos to discover how remanufacturing can help generate new revenue streams, increase customer value, and reduce dependence on scarce raw materials.
  • Residual Value Tool – Discover how Circonnect’s Residual Value Tool provides insight into the reuse and recycling value of products and materials, and how this can contribute to circular business models.
  • Reuse Systems – Learn from real-world examples in CIRCO Chain Tracks covering topics such as solar panels, offshore wind, and HVAC systems, and discover how reuse systems work in practice.
  • HVAC Systems – Help shape the development of a joint product benchmark for HVAC systems and contribute to the direction of this new initiative.

More than just content

In addition to inspiring sessions, there will be plenty of opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs, experts, and supply chain partners. During the networking reception at the end of the day, you can share experiences, make new connections, and explore opportunities for collaboration. After all, we cannot achieve the circular transition on our own. Collaboration within and across supply chains is essential to moving toward a future-proof manufacturing industry.

Practical Information

The Circular Manufacturing Industry Annual Event will take place on Wednesday, June 17, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at De Kas in Woerden. Register today to secure your spot.
