Rijkswaterstaat's Circular Economy and Waste Department is the knowledge center on circular economy and waste. Our ambition is to close raw material cycles and thereby bring a circular economy closer. An economy in which we use fewer and fewer primary raw materials, prevent the generation of waste as much as possible and reuse waste in high-quality ways with the least harm to the environment.
We are the knowledge partner of the Ministry of IenW and Rijkswaterstaat internally and work closely with other governments and industry partners. Our primary activities are:
