Packaging protects products but is also a major waste stream. Circular design maximizes value retention throughout the life cycle of a product-packaging combination. In this session, participants were challenged to look at packaging differently and inspired with compelling real-world examples.
On February 16, 2023, CIRCONNECT organized the Kickstart Workshop on Circular Packaging. In an online session, designers were able to get an accessible introduction to the basics of circular packaging. CIRCONNECT partners CIRCO, the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) and the Kennisinstituut Duurzaam Verpakken (KIDV) took participants into the world of circular packaging.
